Made with Patagonia’s exclusive Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric, the R1 uses a recycled polyester and spandex blend with a high-low interior grid that helps trap warmth, move moisture and improve breathability. The result is a fleece that insulates when needed but still releases excess heat when you’re working hard.

A deep front zipper provides quick ventilation and temperature control, while off-shoulder seams sit comfortably beneath backpack straps. The technical fit works well over a lightweight base layer and can also be worn on its own in milder conditions.
