This spring-cushioned design minimizes the stress and strain along your hands, elbows and shoulder joints while walking. Unscrew the polished wooden knob and attach your SLR, digital or other camera (be sure to verify that your camera has a tripod mounting option on the base--most do these days) and the Sierra converts to a convenient monopod. The soft foam grip below the knob allows for several different handholds depending on your desired length setting. Depending on where you're strolling, you can switch between the floor-friendly rubber tip cover or use the carbide Flextip for grip on slick surfaces.
